What an amazing night the ninth Kent Health & Beauty Awards was. Hosted at the Ashford International Hotel. Hosted by Hilary Steel, the event started with a celebratory atmosphere that continued thought out the evening. Nineteen categories across the Health and Beauty Industry were celebrated and this glamourous event sponsored by MMM Magazine.
The awards are judged by a panel of both business and industry professionals and each one brings a different level of experience and insight to the event. Winners aren’t selected by a popular voting system, instead, they are chosen through their own merit and achievements. One theme that ran through the evening was that success isn’t simply defined by the amount of turnover a business, although this too is applauded. Success for some is about being able to generate income and being able to work around family commitments. All levels of success are openly celebrated with many new connections being made at the event. With a high number of finalists in attendance, the energy was electric as the celebrations unfolded.

Hilary and Sue founded this event back in 2015 after the Health and Beauty Category was so highly populated in their sister event, The Kent Women in Business Awards. A lot of work happens in the background as they both strive to promote collaboration and peer to peer connections within the business landscape in Kent. It was a night that will be remembered long into the future, and they would like to thank everyone who supports it and helps make it a reality.
